SWFObject 2.1: SWFObject is an easy-to-use and standards-friendly method to embed Flash content, which utilizes one small JavaScript file.

OS2008 Feature Upgrade: Nokia has published the OS2008 Feature Upgrade for the N810 and N800 Internet Tablets. This release is based on Maemo 4.1 (codename Diablo) and provides the Seamless Software Update feature. Users still need to reflash the device in order to install this release. Further OS updates will be made available over-the-air, without needing to reflash. Now users will get automatic notifications in the home screen about the availability of OS updates or single applications, including those installed from third parties.

Block Posters: Create any size wall posters from any size images! A bit like the Rasterbator, except it doesn't raster the images but just makes them bigger and poster-sized.

Consolas Font: Why not replace the default command prompt font with this anti-aliased version from Microsoft? Although you don't get as many lines on the screen – but it’s so much clearer and easier to read! And it's free!

Garfield Minus Garfield: Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life?

Audiko: Upload any song, choose the best bit, trim the rest and download your brand new ringtone!

WorldWide Telescope: Making Scoble cry, it's the announcement of Microsoft's WorldWide Telescope. Currently in a private alpha, but should be available to the wider public soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do with this.

Coffee & TV Milk Carton: Make your own cute milk carton from the Coffee & TV music video by Blur.

COLOURlovers: A place for people who love colours to congregate and share their favourite colour palettes with other like-minded people. Possibly a useful resource for those who are looking for a new scheme for their site?

ColorSchemer: An online colour scheme generator for your web sites. Very handy!

TrueCrypt: Free open-source disk encryption software for Windows Vista/XP, Mac OS X, and Linux. Pretty awesome if you're a laptop owner, or even if you're not.

Identifont: Identifont is the largest independent directory of typefaces on the Internet. It provides a range of features to help you locate fonts or find information about fonts - you can even find a font by its appearance!

TeamViewer: An incredibly useful remote control solution and desktop sharing application, allowing you to take control of a PC anywhere in the world - even from behind firewalls and with no installation required.

What Happens When Google's Parents Leave Town for the Weekend?: Very funny video... featuring Google, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Snopes and more!

Do You Understand What Copyright Is For?: Is it a way for big corporations to make lots of money, or was it originally conceived to actually promote progress?
